MEET OUR FOUNDER
Tasha Knight founded Web Design by Knight in 2001, turning her lifelong passion for technology and creativity into a trusted website management company.
Her web design journey began in 1996 at the University of Montana’s Mansfield Library, where she built and maintained the university’s website network, computer systems, and servers. That early experience sparked a deep interest in how technology connects people and ideas.
As her expertise grew, Tasha became a Microsoft Certified Trainer and authored Windows 2000 Server – MCSE: Exam Cram. This blend of technical mastery and creative vision shaped her unique approach to web design—where functionality, usability, and aesthetics work seamlessly together.
With more than 25 years of experience in website design, management, and digital strategy, Tasha continues to lead a talented U.S.-based team known for innovation, reliability, and personal attention. Under her leadership, Web Design by Knight has grown from a respected St. Louis firm to a nationally recognized boutique agency—built entirely through client referrals.
When she’s not leading her team or designing, Tasha enjoys the outdoors, running, reading, and spending time with her family.

With more than three decades in the entertainment and publishing industries, Deb is an accomplished writer and branding specialist. Her background includes creating family-friendly television and film content alongside one of the country’s top Intellectual Property attorneys. Her writing chops include: screenwriting, novel length fiction and non-fiction, children’s books, radio program creation, business writing and advertising. She is highly skilled in intellectual property development and in shaping and elevating brands. She leads our Marketing Team.

Mary
Mary is our Content Director and Email Marketing Specialist. She has a deeper understanding than most mortals do of how SEO and AEO work together to affect the visibility of our clients on the web. She dances with changing algorithms and metrics with grace and good humor, and keeps our team in stitches with strange-but-true tales of her Adventures With Moose, gardening feats, and cross-country travels with Gary. Her background as a professional writer is immense, and we are blessed to have her - and her command of the English language - on our team.

Brenae
Brenea is our Social Media Manager. She is a gifted communicator in short-form messaging and excels at capturing each of our client’s voice and branding. Brenae stays abreast of current trends in advertising so that our social campaigns never look dated - unless retro is the look you’re going for! She has super-human patience when explaining new art concepts to the artistically and technically challenged. When Brenae is not at the computer, you will find her behind a microphone, singing with a local choir and band.

Alyssa
Alyssa is the Website Admin who keeps our projects moving with clarity and purpose. She’s worked across an impressive range of industries—from healthcare and education to hospitality, state parks, and libraries—giving her a unique lens on what drives strong website performance. Passionate about getting things right, she’s a true partner and advocate for our clients, but doesn’t remember a time when there were no computers. Incredible.
