Google Mobile First Index Update
Google has not set a date for their roll-out of their new Mobile First Index. That leads website managers to believe the roll-out may be “months” way. Thoughts are that it will be before the end of 2017. That gives businesses a little breathing room to get their websites mobile friendly so they will appear on all mobile devices and desktop.
Security Update:
WordPress and Joomla are mellow.
I often feel like I’m on a roller coaster when looking at website security and updates. January was calm, February was pretty active, March was back to calm.
WordPress had a minor update and Joomla did not have any update this month. WordPress firewall had 2-3 reiterations of updates, but Joomla didn’t have any this month. We continue to monitor all our clients sites for security updates and breaches. Know that your website is secure in our hands, but if you ever have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
